Back up to more than one place
Keep your backups in Google Drive, Dropbox and a folder on your phone, all at once. Plus a stricter passcode lock.
Whole could already back up to Google Drive or Dropbox, one at a time. One copy is good, but you know what’s better? Two copies in different places.
As many destinations as you like
You can now set up several destinations at once:
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- A folder on your phone, new in this version and picked with Android’s file picker. Point it at any folder, even one that another app syncs, and your backups will go there.
Scheduled backups go to all of them too, so if one service ever lets you down, the others still have your data.
A stricter lock
The passcode has protected Whole for a long time. In this version it gets a little stricter: it now locks the app the same way wherever you left it, and while a passcode is set, Whole hides its preview in your recent apps, so nobody can peek at your numbers from the app switcher.
